Scriptura

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16–17 ESV)

Scriptura is my project to visualize the use of the Bible in publicized Network documents. I won’t offer any commentary here. Instead, you can view the following for yourself:

Pages

  • Bible coverage – This page shows the percentage coverage of each book of the Bible. You can click the book links to see a chapter-by-chapter breakdown. You can click the chapter to see every passage referenced and which documents refer to them. Note that not every document refers to every verse in the passage range.
  • Bible popularity – This page shows the “popularity” of a book or chapter, relative to other books or chapters in the same book, respectively. The number shown is the number of sources that refer to it. Even if a document refers to Acts a dozen times, it counts only once.
  • Sources – This is the list of sources currently used by the coverage map. Clicking a source will show all of the passages cited in the document, with a link to the original source at the bottom.
